About Electric Vehicles

Electric vehicles are still fairly new. Tesla didn't release the Roadster until 2008, and Nissan was two years after with the Leaf. I'll admit that there are some unknowns when it comes to electric vehicles (EV's). But what I like about technology is that it isn't static. It's always evolving! With the support of the government and the private sector, it will become more efficient than the internal combustion engine (ICE) on every level. I'll tell you that one of the ways that EVs are better than ICE vehicles right now is in fuel costs. Making the switch to an EV can help you save the environment & your money!

The Savings

Did you know that you could save up to $1800 a year by switching from an ICE vehicle to an EV?

Check out ChargeHub.com to see how much you could save annually!

This doesn't even include the fact that maintenance costs on an EV are much lower (no oil or fluid changes needed). Now couple this with the fact that there are some federal government rebates on new vehicle purchases and for $1000 for a used EV. You can deduct a higher amount on your taxes as a business owner. It really makes more fiscal sense to go electric.

My Experience with EVs

My original reason for buying an EV is because of the environmental impact. Now I can add the fact that I will have paid for my car in 4 years with the gas savings alone. This just leaves me with more money to invest with!
