Great real estate professionals do more than help people buy and sell homes. They build relationships, strengthen communities, mentor their colleagues, and help shape the future of their industry.
Each year, Royal LePage recognizes individuals who embody these qualities through one of its most prestigious individual distinctions: the A.E. LePage REALTOR® of the Year Award.
Named in honour of Royal LePage's founder, the award celebrates exceptional REALTORS® whose contributions extend well beyond their sales achievements.
From coast to coast, these individuals represent the very best of a profession built on trust, service, and connection.
What Is the A.E. LePage REALTOR® of the Year Award?
The A.E. LePage REALTOR® of the Year Award recognizes Royal LePage real estate professionals who demonstrate excellence in four important areas:
- Productivity: Consistently delivering exceptional results for their clients.
- Leadership: Contributing to the advancement of their colleagues, brokerages, and the real estate profession.
- Community involvement: Supporting meaningful causes, particularly through the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
- Brand engagement: Representing the values, professionalism, and service philosophy of Royal LePage.
Five regional recipients are recognized annually, representing British Columbia, the Prairies, Ontario, Quebec, and the East Coast. From these recipients, one individual is selected for the national honour.
The award reflects a belief that success in real estate should be measured not only by what someone achieves, but also by the difference they make along the way.
A Legacy More Than a Century in the Making
When A.E. LePage founded his real estate company in Toronto in 1913, he helped lay the foundation for what would become one of Canada's most recognized real estate brands.
His commitment to innovation and professional standards helped shape the industry during its formative years. In 1920, he was instrumental in establishing the Toronto Real Estate Board, reflecting an early dedication to ethical practices and professional accountability.
More than a century later, the award bearing his name continues to recognize individuals who carry those principles forward.

More Than an Award: A Shared Commitment to Excellence
Looking back at these recipients, one thing becomes clear: there is no single path to becoming an exceptional REALTOR®.
Some have built their careers in Canada's largest cities. Others serve smaller towns, rural communities, and coastal markets. Some lead teams, others mentor colleagues, and many dedicate significant time and resources to charitable causes close to their hearts.
What connects them is a commitment to something larger than individual success.
The A.E. LePage REALTOR® of the Year Award celebrates that commitment and reminds us that the real estate profession is at its best when knowledge, leadership, generosity, and service come together.
To every recipient recognized between 2017 and 2025: congratulations, and thank you for the contributions you have made to your communities and our profession.
We're proud to be in such remarkable company.
Here to Help.
