4. Rearrange your space

8. Find some art and décor that speaks to you
It’s amazing what art can do to a space. Find something that resonates with you, create a gallery wall, add small décor pieces to shelving, cabinets, tables, etc.
9. Purge
Sometimes all your home needs is a good purge and tidy. It’s easy to accumulate items overtime. It’s important to go through shelves, closets and cabinets, clearing out things that no longer serve a purpose in your space. Think Marie Kondo! “Does it spark joy?” No? Donate it!
10. Brighten things up
Does your space feel dim? Add some light. Wall colours are one thing, sometimes it’s as simple as adding a lamp to a dark corner or switching out old light fixtures. Change heavy curtains with something sheer to allow more natural light. Mirrors are another great way to brighten things up as they can reflect light. Add mirrors opposite of light sources, but angle to avoid a glare.
